  1. Through an entrance examination. Which also happens to be a part of the NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) conducted by CBSE every year in March/April. Or its equivalent state board exams. If there’s no NEET exam being held at that time. The qualifying marks required for this are: 
  2. 45% aggregate with Physics as one subject and Mathematics as the second subject; 
  3. 50% aggregate with Physics as one subject only; 
  4. 60% aggregate with both English & Hindi languages with English language. Only if English is not your first language. 

Postgraduate Degree (PG Admission) 

Postgraduate Degree (PG Admission) is the process of admission to postgraduate level courses in India. Which is generally done through an entrance examination conducted by the university itself. Its equivalent state board exams. If there’s no university exam being held at that time. The qualifying marks required for this are 50% aggregate with Physics as one subject and Mathematics as a second subject; 55% aggregate with Physics as one subject only; 60% aggregate with both English & Hindi languages (with English language. Only if English is not your first language).

  1. You can apply for PG admission after you have completed your UG studies. 
  2. You can apply for PG admission in the same university where you did your UG studies. 

Features of a Graduation Degree in India 

You can earn a Graduation Degree by completing a minimum of 4 years of study. The degree will be awarded by a university and based on merit. The examination you must undergo is called Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). 

It is important to note that this is not an undergraduate degree (UG). But rather one that needs to be completed. After completing your post-graduation coursework. And research project work at another university or college
