What is the eligibility criteria for PhD admission 2025 in India?

To be eligible for PhD Degree, an individual must have completed a master’s degree in a relevant field from a reputed university with a minimum score of 55% in the master’s and bachelor’s degrees. 

Further, an individual also has to qualify for the PhD entrance examination, i.e. UGC NET, GATE, CSIR-NET and the interview/group discussion round conducted by the university.
