What Is KEAM 2026?

KEAM is short for KERALA ENGINEERING ARCHITECTURE MEDICAL. Every year, CEE Kerala holds this exam for admission to UG Engineering, B.Pharm, Architecture & Medical-Allied Courses. KEAM is divided into 2 components; A Computer-Based Entrance Test (Engineering, Pharmacy) and a Centralized Admission Process/CAP Counseling (Medical, Agriculture, Forestry, Architecture & Allied Courses).

If you’re looking to get an MBBS, BDS, or other Medical Seats in Kerala, you don’t have to take the KEAM Entrance Exam. Instead of taking the KEAM entrance test, you’ll register with CAP using your NEET UG 2026 scores. For architecture students who want to apply for Architecture programs, they will need to complete their NATA requirements. The only students that will be taking the KEAM CBT are Engineering & Pharmacy students.

KEAM 2026 Eligibility Criteria

KEAM 2026 Registration: How to Apply

1) Register Online – enter your full name, mobile/landline telephone number (as it will appear in your identification), and an e-mail address that you can access. This e-mail address will receive all communications from us regarding your registration.

2) Fill Application Form – Enter your Personal Details; Educational Qualifications and Course Preferences.

3) Upload Documents – Upload a scanned copy of your Photo & Signature, Copy of Class 10th Certificate with DOB mentioned, Nativity Proof and Marks Sheets of Qualifying Exam.

4) Pay Registration Fee – Payment needs to be made On-Line only. There is an Additional Fee of Rs. 16000/- applicable for candidates choosing UAE as their Examination Centre.

5) Submit and Save – Download Confirmation Page.

KEAM Syllabus 2026

The KEAM Syllabus 2026 covers Class 11 and Class 12 content across three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The subject weightage in the exam is 5:3:2 (Mathematics carries the most weight, followed by Physics, then Chemistry).

• Physics topics include mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, and modern physics.

• Chemistry covers physical chemistry (equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry), organic chemistry (hydrocarbons, carbonyl compounds, biomolecules), and inorganic chemistry.

Seats are allocated through CAP counseling, using the candidate’s NEET UG 2026 rank. A candidate must meet at least the 50th percentile in NEET UG 2026 to be included on the ranked list.

Architecture: NATA is used for scoring. CAP counseling operates as it did previously.
