The proposal must include a goals section that explains to the committee what you hope to achieve through the research and writing you will do. This section of the paper includes long-term goals, similar to a resolution, but you must show how you intend to achieve the results. You do not include your objectives in a bulleted list, and you should have no more than three objectives. Your goals, on the other hand, can have subheadings with smaller objectives that you want to complete in order to reach the ultimate goal. You should be specific and precise in your explanation of what you want to prove and how you intend to accomplish it.
