How to take admission for PhD in India?

Here is the overall overview of the PhD in India: 

• Firstly, an individual must have completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university.  

• Further, an individual also needs to qualify for the PhD entrance exam, such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET and GATE.  

• Now, if the individuals fulfill the eligibility criteria, then fill in the application form, which is available on the official website.  

• The application form contains the following information: Basic personal details, educational qualifications, academic certificates, work experience, caste category reservations (if applicable).  

• After qualifying for the PhD entrance examination, an individual needs to submit research proposals and attend the interview rounds. 

Now, on the basis of examination marks and interview scores, admission is offered to the candidate.
