BITSAT Application Form 2026: How to Apply for Session 2

The 2026 BITSAT Application Form will be available online at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Here are the steps to fill the form:

Step 1: Begin at the website, signing up fresh. Full name first, then when you were born, your email, number where calls reach, what gender fits. Once everything saves right, a code shows – eight digits long, meant just for you.

Step 2: Once you’re done filling out everything, add your name, school history, plus pick three test locations you like. If registration for Session-1 is already done, access the system again with earlier login data then keep going.

Step 3: Start by adding your necessary files through scanning or uploading. A passport sized photo – saved as JPEG or JPG, between 50 and 100 KB – is required; so is a signature file within the same range. These two items must be present without exception. Check each scan carefully prior to submission because mistakes in formatting could lead to problems later. Uploading something incorrect might cause outright rejection of your request.

Step 4: Make the fee payment. Fee payment can be done through various options viz. PayU Money, PayTM and/or ICICI Payment Gateway depending upon the option selected by candidate. Fee structure varies based on categories of candidates as under:

CategoryApplication Fee
Male Candidates from India / Nepal₹3600/- (For Session-I Only) | ₹5600/- (Both Sessions)
Female / Transgender Candidates from India / Nepal₹3100/- (For Session-I Only) | ₹5100/- (Both Sessions)
Candidates Appearing for Dubai Centre Examination₹9250/- & above

Step 5: Get a printed copy of duly filled-in application and payment receipts.

Any corrections needed for Session-I form were allowed during the BITSAT correction window 2026 scheduled in March. Fresh Applicants who submit their forms for Session-II should input their details very accurately as Name, Date of Birth and Test City Preferences cannot be edited once submitted.

BITSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Here is the list to see if you qualify for it or not. BITS Pilani also updated the eligibility rules this year.

Finished or currently taking the class 12 exam – approved board – in either 2025 or 2026. That counts if it’s done or still underway.

Passing with at least 75% overall in physics, chemistry, and math – biology included instead of math for B Pharm applicants

60% which should be individual percentage in each of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology

English is a compulsory subject

BITSAT 2026 Important Change: Earlier clause permitting students who took all the class XII subjects again at a later time were permitted to be eligible; if you’re a student who is required to retake all five subjects due to being an essential repeat candidate; you are no longer eligible to take BITSAT 2026.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Pattern: What the Test Actually Looks Like

The BITS Pilani entrance exam 2026 is a 3-hour computer-based test. Here’s the structure:

SectionNo. of Questions
Physics30
Chemistry30
English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning25
Mathematics / Biology45
Total130

Three points come your way when an answer is right. A single point slips away if it is wrong. Nailing every one of the 130 questions opens a door – twelve more appear, drawn from any area. That leap beyond 360 happens here, where only a few ever step

The exam runs only in English language, nothing else. Not even a pencil is allowed. The duration will be 3 hours .

BITSAT Syllabus 2026: What to Study

Starting fresh, the 2026 BITSAT test now pulls from class 11 and 12 NCERT topics across Physics, Chemistry, and Math. Because of that, those studying for JEE get a quiet boost – around nine out of ten concepts already match up.

SubjectImportant Topics
PhysicsMechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetics, Modern Physics, Optics
ChemistryOrganic Chemistry Reactions, Chemical Bonding, Equilibrium, Electrochemistry
MathematicsCalculus, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Trigonometry, Matrices
English SkillsGrammar, Reading, Vocabulary
Logical ReasoningVerbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning

Surprisingly few learners expect how tough English and logic can be. Because of this, attention often lands on physics, chemistry, math – leaving those two areas barely touched. Without much practice there, some end up skipping nearly a quarter of the paper.

BITSAT Slot Booking 2026

BITSAT Slot Booking 2026 gives applicants a chance to pick when they want to take the exam, following sign-up. Once registration wraps up, session two timing options appear online – information lands on the main site. Though dates are open for choice, access comes only after form completion

One step into sign-up lets applicants pick up three cities. Their top choice guides where they’ll land, most of the time. Yet anyone listing Dubai first will find themselves set there – no backups allowed.

BITSAT Cutoff 2026: What Scores to Aim For

BITSAT cutoff 2026 changes from campuses to the desired subject. Based on past trends:

Course/ProgramExpected BITSAT 2026 Cutoff
CS Engineering at BITS Pilani (Pilani)370+ out of 390
CS Engineering at BITS Goa/Hyderabad345 to 360
Electronics and Electrical320 to 350
Civil/Chemical Engineering290 to 320
M.Sc. Program250 to 290

These numbers move every year based on difficulty and competition. The safest approach: target 340+ if you want a realistic shot at engineering programs across all three campuses.

BITSAT Preparation Tips That Actually Work

Cracking the BITS Pilani entrance exam 2026 is less about grinding 14 hours a day and more about being strategic.

Start with NCERT:- Seriously. BITSAT tests fundamentals hard. Students who neglect NCERT concepts and jump straight to advanced material struggle with the basics on exam day.

Use BITSAT sample papers in 2026:- The question style is different from JEE more straightforward, less derivation heavy. You need to be able to practice mock papers for this exam before attempting the real one as it will boost your confidence, plus you will be less anxiety driven when giving the paper. You need to aim for at least 20 mocks before the exam.

Don’t ignore English and Reasoning:- 25 questions. Roughly 75 marks at stake. Students who spend even 2 weeks on this section often see their rank jump significantly.

Attempt the Bonus Questions:- If you’ve answered all 130 correctly (or nearly so), BITSAT gives you 12 additional questions. Getting even 8–10 right there can push your score from 360 to 390. Practice full papers end-to-end so this doesn’t catch you by surprise.

At Aimlay, we work closely with students navigating multiple entrance exams at once BITSAT, JEE, VITEEE and the biggest thing we’ve seen is that structured planning beats random studying every time. If you’re finding difficulty balance BITSAT preparation with boards and JEE, we will help you to have a clear weekly roadmap rather than just studying “whatever feels needed.”
