1. Level I (PRT, Classes I to V): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks along with a two-year diploma in Elementary Education or an equivalent qualification.  

2. Level II (TFT, Classes VI to VIII): Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization with an aggregate of 50% or more and a recognized qualification like B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. 

3. Level III (PGT, Classes IX – XII): Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree and a specialized subject with at least 50% or more along with a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university. 

One of the common eligibility requirements includes matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit, or higher education with Hindi as one of the subjects is mandatory. A relaxation of 5% is awarded to the candidates from reserved categories including SC/ST/ PH of Haryana domicile.
