Are online MBA programs easier to get into?

When one compares online MBA programs with that of a traditional degree, it is much easier to crack online MBA, but there has been an increase in demand and competitiveness for virtual programs. Many of the famous universities and institutions design their online MBA in a way that it is suited more for the working professionals providing them with flexibility and affordability, thereby, making the admission process more inclusive. 

Many of the top-tier institutions don’t follow the regular eligibility criteria but rather focus more on work experience, academic background and personal achievement which carry more weight. Some of the institutions also waive the national entrance exams as the eligibility criteria for working professionals. However, this does not mean that they are laid back. Instead, they still maintain rigorous admission standards requiring an individual to have a good GPA, strong resume, essays and letter of recommendations which are similar to the on-campus criteria.  

Most of the online MBA programs and degrees focus more on professional working experience and academic achievements which make them unique. Many of the universities which are mid-tier have rolling admission throughout the year, with multiple intakes, and flexible entry requirements which makes an individual feel less pressurized.  

To conclude, to say that Online MBAs are easily accessible would be an understatement. Their level of difficulty depends on the reputation of the program and the institution itself, which either lures the people or repels the professionals.
