Basically, candidates who wish to start the CS journey after the completion of the higher secondary education or the 10+2 level must go through the 3 levels, i.e., foundational level, executive level and professional level.

CS foundation level can be pursued by anyone (humanities, science and commerce) except fine arts students.  

CS executive and CS professional can be taken up by any stream graduate except fine arts.

CS Course: Examination Pattern and Fees Structure  

The CS examination is conducted 2 times a year, i.e. June and December sessions.  The examination fees for all the three levels are given below: 

Foundational level: Rs. 1200; executive level: Rs. 1200 per module; professional level: Rs. 1200 per module  

To be eligible for the next level, an individual needs to qualify for the examination with a minimum of 40% in each exam and 50% as aggregate score.  

Further, an individual needs to complete the 2nd and 3rd levels, i.e., executive and professional, within the registration period sessions. The registration sessions can be extended on the payment of fees.
