The process of applying for NAAC accreditation for colleges involves several steps as mentioned below.  

Step 1: Registration on NAAC portal: The university must be registered under the NAAC website and create an institutional profile.  

Step 2: Eligibility Criteria: Ensure that you align with the eligibility criteria such as minimum years of operation and university affiliation. 

Step 3: Institutional Information for Quality Assessment: Submit the IIQA form with the basic data and required documents.  

Step 4: Self-Study Report: Prepare and upload SSR covering seven NAAC criteria. 

Step 5: Data Validation & Verification: NAAC validates the submitted data through external experts. 

Step 6: Peer Visit Team: A NAAC appointed team visits the institute to evaluate on the basis of their criteria. 

Step 7: Decision and Validity: Based on the reports, a candidate is assigned grade and the validity for the same stands for 5 years.
