To structure a good statement of purpose for PhD admission: 

• Firstly, an individual should start the statement of purpose with a good academic background and interests in that research field.  

• Now, highlight the relevant education, projects, research and publications.  

• Further, clearly research important areas, questions and topic relevance. 

• While writing the statement of purpose, now explain about how PhD will help to achieve academic and professional goals.  

• Lastly, add the conclusion to the statement of purpose.  

It is important to note that a statement of purpose should not extend 1 or 2 pages.
