Undergraduate education in India is typically the first level of tertiary education, and it includes programs such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). These programs typically take three to four years to complete and provide students with foundational knowledge and skills in a specific field of study.

Postgraduate education, on the other hand, is the next level of tertiary education and includes programs such as Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Postgraduate programs are more specialized and in-depth than undergraduate programs and usually require students to have completed a relevant undergraduate degree. Postgraduate programs typically take one to two years to complete and provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in their field of study.
