What is the difference between a PGDM and an MBA?

A PGDM is similar to an MBA, but it’s a one-year degree program that can be completed in a few months rather than three years. Both degrees are designed to prepare students for leadership roles in companies and organizations, but the focus of each is different. The MBA focuses on people management, financial management, strategic planning, marketing, operations and supply chain management. The PGDM focuses on business practices and analysis of business models.
