CBSE 2026 brings big changes! Class 10 board exams will be held twice a year, giving students a chance to improve scores without losing an academic year.
Attendance matters! Students must have 75% attendance to appear. Plus, Class 9–10 & 11–12 will be treated as a two-year continuous course.
In the May exam, students can reappear in up to 3 subjects. But subject changes won’t be allowed between the two attempts.
Internal assessments stay once per session, even with two exams. Both February & May exams will cover the full syllabus with no shortcuts.
The 2026 CBSE changes reduce stress, add flexibility, and ensure fairness. Students must plan early, maintain attendance, and be exam-ready twice a year.
